Connect your sanctuary microphone, open a YouTube video or live stream, or play an MP3 or MP4 file.
Speech recognition and translation run on your Mac, with the Bible names, books and verses a sermon uses.
ON DEVICEDisplay captions on a projector, livestream, or video switcher.
One Mac runs the captions for the sanctuary, the livestream, and the archive, while the operator keeps an eye on every line.
Large, readable captions on the sanctuary screen, full screen on the display you choose, while the operator keeps full controls.
Bright text on black for your video switcher's luma key, so livestream viewers see the captions too.
Every session is saved in its own folder as an .srt file, ready for the recording and the archive.
Paste the notes and the passages before the service. Names come out right, and verses read aloud show the English Bible's wording.
Paste a video or live-stream link. If YouTube won't play it inside the app, one click plays it in your browser and captions keep coming.
Advanced for the best meaning, Standard for the fastest captions. Check this Mac tells you what your Mac can do.

Two sermons, reviewed caption by caption (November 2026). The sermons were not used to tune LiveGospel.
Median time to translate one caption line, from real use: 102 sessions, 35,288 lines.
From LiveGospel's own usage data, November 2026. High performance needs 48 GB of memory. Advanced gives the best meaning on 16 GB; Standard is fastest, with less accurate captions. Recognizing each line adds 0.6–1.1 s before translation starts.
Check the saved subtitles against the video, fix any line, and save a corrected .srt for the recording. Corrections you choose to send help LiveGospel hear and translate your church's words better next time.
The video plays next to its subtitles, and the line being spoken is highlighted. Click any time to play from there.
Double-click a line to fix it. The original file is never changed; a corrected copy is saved beside it.
Open a LiveGospel subtitle file and the recording or video it was made from opens with it.
